Rainy Fall Portrait Session in Birmingham, Alabama

When life gives you rain, why not use it to create something extraordinary? That's precisely what happened during a recent mini portrait session at a charming plant shop in downtown Birmingham, Alabama. I choose to shoot this session documentary style to keep things fun and interesting for this family of four. However, their little ones were the perfect models. They were camera ready and each time I counted to three their baby boy would give me the biggest smile. The rain not only added all the cinematic feels but also made the session all the more memorable. The next time you find yourself in the midst of a rain shower, don't shy away from capturing the beauty and joy it can bring.
